Lunch and goodies provided by some wonderful residents today! We thank you for your generosity! Thank you to Boyer’s Tavern-Rexmont Pa for delivering the food. It was wonderful!
Our department has received many complaints from residents that have received emails from companies such as Amazon, Xfinity, PayPal and Nike, etc. telling them their account is on hold. In the email there is a link to click on to verify the customers account. This email is a SCAM, When you click on this link, this gives someone access to your computer and everything in it. Never click on links in these types of emails.... Bad news will come out of it On way to spot a RED F...LAG in a suspicious email is to look at the sender of the email. As you can see in this picture (actual email) it appears to be from Amazon, however the sender is from Crabiepratries.online. NOT Amazon. This may seem trivial but it may save someone from getting your personal information, banking information and you having to spend hours on the phone with an IT person getting your computer fixed. Please call the Police Department 717-274-2071 with any questions
