Fall is good at cottage!

I want to thank the renters that took the time to pick up an entire garbage bag full of plastic, styrofoam, and stuff from the beach. That was very kind of you and we appreciate it. Each spring, Dianne and I usually fill about 5-6 bags, generally in about an hour. We think the creek acts as a water wall and tends to mean our little beach gets lots of trees and wood, which is good, but also large amounts of man-made stuff. The quantity of styrofoam "beads/balls" mixed i...nto our said is very sad. Lake level is receding, but this year's super high water level certainly took a chunk of our property. Thanks to all for your continued patronage. We had a very busy and active August and as usual, most fall weekends are booked. Please remember, book direct and avoid the VRBO fees.
