Robert was a retired life member here at Delmont VFD. He had 55 years with the department. We send our deepest condolences to his family.

Over the past week, members have been working in the truck bays changing lights and giving it a fresh coat of paint. Looking good Mike!

This afternoon at 14:53(2:53pm), Station 30 was dispatched to Edward's Chiropractic for a vehicle into the building with possible entrapment and smoke coming from the vehicle. One of our firefighters arrived to the scene confirming one injury. A second vehicle involved was blocking Route 66 Southbound. Engine 30-1 then arrived on scene and assisted EMS with extrication and Rescue 64 was requested to do traffic control on Route 66 until the vehicle was cleared and then came to assist with cleanup. After the vehicles were picked up, Salavge 63 was requested to the scene to board up the building. All units cleared from the scene without incident. Thanks to White Valley VFD and Claridge VFD for the assist. We would also like to thank Edward's Chiropractic and Fox's Pizza for the pizza!

This afternoon, Station 30 was dispatched to Route 66 @ Greensburg Street infront of S&T Bank for a vehicle accident with injuries. Special Service 30 arrived on scene first with 2 firefighters with a 2-vehicle accident blocking the intersection and fluids on the roadway with one injury. Engine 301 and Rescue 30 then arrived on scene. Assisting us was White Valley VFD Rescue 64. (Photos Credit goes to Steve Fox)
