Hummingbirds - loved for their beauty and speed. Not loved for their snoring. Yes, just like the partner who kept you awake last night, hummingbirds snore. #SuperCuteAnimals

A new mom at 65 years old! Wisdom, the world's oldest known, banded wild bird and her mate are the proud parents of a newly hatched chick! Hatched on February 1..., 2016, the chick is named Kkini, which is a Hawaiian word for messenger. Wisdom's mate was caring for the egg when it hatched and was caught on camera, bonding with the new chick. Wisdom, and close to a million other albatross, depends on Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge and Battle of Midway National Memorial to provide a safe place to nest and raise a family.
