French Creek Valley Forestry

Looks like we are going to have a decent red oak acorn crop this year. So far so good.

Nothing like the smell of fresh cut sassafras lumber.

I was at a sawmill the other day. So I made a few videos of the mill running. This is what a typical " modern" Amish mill. Equipment is pretty modern but manpower moves most everything along the production process.
