The Faranda Farm has always taken the welfare and safety of our guests very seriously. Due to the uncertainty of the spread and consequences of the COVID-19 virus, and our concern about the welfare and health of our visitors, the Laurel Highlands Garlic Festival in August 2020 has been canceled. It is our plan to continue to celebrate the Garlic Festival in 2021. Please take care of yourself and each other!

Thank you to all who donated the non-perishable food items for the food pantry. We took 682 items to the St. Francis Caring and Sharing Pantry in Hollsopple. We also had cash donations of $55.25 which were sent to the Salvation Army. We appreciate your generosity to our food drive. Blessings to all! Mary & Philip

I would like to thank all those who came to visit us from Pepsi yesterday! We had such a beautiful warm Autumn day. It was wonderful to see so many families...moms rolling in the babies, dad carrying in the toddlers and guys and gals enjoying the farm experience. They had simple family fun..no IT required. They were lovely people. And we hoped they will have great family memories because Philip & I enjoyed meeting every one of them.
