An April back to school story in honor of kids who may have just gotten to go back into school for the first time in over a year...kiddos, parents and teachers, we are so proud of all of you! Here’s I got the School Spirit
Are you losing motivation? Feeling like time is passing fast and you’re getting nowhere? The first answer is to lower your expectations. You’re not alone; we all experience setbacks. Then realize this: you will never have all of your ducks in a row. Stop being so hard on yourself. Take a look at all you’ve accomplished so far and congratulate yourself. Try listening to music, choose something uplifting. Remember what you put in, is what comes out. Watch enlightening dramas with heroes who save the day instead of horror stories or action thrillers and suspense. There are so many good people in the world (you’re probably one of them). Do a good turn and most of all, be kind to yourself. Your body is a temple, move it, feed it healthy food and pure thoughts and you’ll get out of the slump-down-in-the-dumps a lot sooner! Shalom.
Great news! It looks like we will be able to resume contact free pickup services and processing returns tomorrow, Friday November 6! We will be back on site and available by phone from 8:45 tomorrow!
On Tuesday November 3, the Fox Chase Library will serve as a polling place. We will be closed for library services on Election Day; and will be open only for voting. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Voters are urged to wear face masks. Anyone in line by 8:00 p.m. will be able to vote. Additionally, libraries serving as polling places will remain closed until they are professionally cleaned. The timeline for reopening will vary. We will close the book drop boxes shortly, and they will remain closed until cleaning is completed and staff is allowed to safely return to the building. We should be back on Monday November 9, but if we are able to resume services sooner, you bet we will, and we will let you know right here on our Facebook page. In the meantime, check out our latest virtual story and song, Duck For President!
