Garlic Mustard is an invasive plant found in the forest of Governor Dick Park. It is quickly filling the forest floor, taking up habitat and space that we would like to see occupied by our native flowers and plants. You can help us get rid it! The Best way to help: 1. Bring a plastic bag, pull it, carry it out, and put it in the trash.... The next best way to help: 2. If you don't have a bag pull it, put it in the middle of the trail and leave it for people to trample. DON'T pull it and throw it in the woods! Garlic Mustard has the ability to seed even after it has been pulled. If you toss it in the woods you will only be helping Garlic Mustard to spread and overtake the habitat of our native flowers and plants.
