Just being real... Shorts are a tough one as we get older. I not only feel it myself, but I experience it every time a woman gets into the dressing room to try to purchase shorts, jeans, and tanks for the upcoming season. We don’t carry many, and are pretty specific in our requirements. I encourage every woman to embrace the skin they are in. Nobody is going to tell me on a hot summer day that I can’t wear shorts, and that includes the self talk that is so damaging to our self esteem. True confession... for one hot second 20 years ago, I considered sending my boys to The Haverford School just so I’d get to dress them in burgundy for 12 straight years, my husband set me straight in 10 seconds flat.
