Centerville Middle School

Mrs. Nile M. Wilson, Hempfield School District Orchestra Director received a grant from The Hempfield Foundation for students and teachers to enjoy a site visit with The Learning Coach - Gregg Goodhart. Mr. Goodhart visited the Hempfield High School and two middle schools, teaching music students how to study and practice using principles based on cognitive and behavioral psychology and neuroscience.

The Centerville Middle School Scribes are pleased to announce that Kylee Thomas and will Cassidy have been selected as our Students of the Week. Through persistence and hard work, Kylee and Will are being celebrated for not only how well they are performing in their classes, but for how they are supportive and collaborative with peers. Congratulations to both of you and thank you for being a positive role model at CMS!

The Minutemen would like to recognize 3 Minutemen as Magnificent Minutemen this week. These students were selected because they consistently demonstrate the Minutemen "P" words: Prepared, Punctual, Positive, Polite, Persistent and Productive. Congratulations to Sena Mute, Gabby Velasquez, and Jack Fields.
