Such a worthwhile cause. I remember drinking whole milk every day I ate lunch at school, and that was only 13 years ago.

Check out this great VMS project we finished last year! Woodside Farm Creamery in Hockessin, DE has a unique business model, as they have a grass-fed Jersey herd of approximately 30, have their own milk processed into an ice cream mix by a location processing plant, create their own ice creams on the farm, and then sell their ice cream products on the farm, from mobile retail locations, and wholesale to location businesses and eateries. They also dry off their herd during the... winter months, and then start back up in the spring. Woodside's existing barn was modified, and added onto to accommodate visitors viewing one VMS V100 robot milking unit from a viewing room, and house an office and meeting space in the upper level. The project is a free flow design, and also features a DeLaval Swinging Cow Brush, and T200 Tank Washer, DeLaval CIP Products, and Teat Dips. Woodside Farm and Creamery have crafted their business model around the significant residential development surrounding their land.
