I am a little behind on posting but I would like to extend my congratulations to Louise and Michael on their marriage!! They both met at Cardinal O’Hara, my alma mater and also where I met my husband! It was a beautiful mass and I was so happy to be part of it!!

Yesterday I was back at Saints Simon and Jude with Val Ludovico on piano/organ and Belmary Lorcas on Violin. I met the couple, Natalie and Alex through a recent wedding workshop and was thrilled when they asked me to sing for their wedding mass! It was such a gorgeous Fall day for a really sweet couple! If you are wondering what the wedding workshop is, it’s a 2 hour event that is held a few times a year at Saints Simon and Jude Church. Select cantors, accompanists and inst...rumentalists (in the past we have had violinists, trumpeters and even a harpist!)are invited to participate in performing songs for each part of the nuptial mass. Engaged couples attend and are able to choose both their musicians and their musical pieces based on what they hear this night! You do not need to be a parishioner of SSJ and you do not have to be married there to attend. All are welcome!
