Tomorrow is the Drug Take Back here at Lansdale Borough Police Station 10AM- 2PM.
There are many signs of Spring around the world, the Swallows returning to Capistrano, or the Cherry Blossoms blooming in Washington DC. But the one true harbinger of Spring is the activation of the Kugel Ball at Railroad Park!! The Kugel Ball was silent last year due to COVID-19 but this year she is running in all her glory. Stop out at Railroad Park and enjoy!!
Earth Day is April 22nd. Join us on April 24th to celebrate and freshen up our beloved parks throughout Lansdale. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Join Friends of Lansdale P...arks for our first park clean up of 2021! For safety we ask that groups limit themselves to those who are in immediate households / quarantine bubbles only. FAQ: Safety first! Please follow all CDC and PADOH Covid19 Safety guidelines at all times. We will stage bags, gloves and other basic supplies at Whites Road Park. Groups can then disperse throughout the Lansdale park system with priority areas and maps available at the staging area. Trash collection points will be established and indicated by event coordinators. Youth are more than welcome but must be accompanied by adult supervision. This is a public event on public property, plan youth involvement accordingly. Corporate sponsors are welcome for supplies and refreshments. Please contact: BJ Breish at [email protected] for any inquiries or large group requests and assignments. Thank you event hosts and supporters: Lansdale Councilman Bill Henning Lansdale Councilwoman Meg Currie Teoh Lansdale Councilman (BJ) William Breish Discover Lansdale
Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 7:00PM, marks the second Bells Across Pennsylvania Day. Bells Across Pennsylvania Day, was started during the COVID-19 lockdown in May 2020 by the Pennsylvania State Mayors’ Association. The purpose of Bells Across Pennsylvania is three tiered, To recognize and honor first responders, healthcare workers, and all the essential workers who continued to work and supply services while at risk of infection from COVID-19. To show solidarity with electe...d officials and residents of municipalities across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. To demonstrate a collective resolve that Pennsylvanians will prevail over COVID-19 and work tirelessly to ensure that their businesses and civic life will thrive once again. Lansdale!! Get out and ring your bells on Sunday at 7:00PM!! Join churches citizens throughout the area and Pennsylvania and ring your bells for three minutes!!

Attempting to pick out just one quote from Martin Luther King Jr. is almost impossible. It turned out that we were unable to, and we settled on two quotes that are as timely today as they were when they were originally expressed by MLK. Martin Luther King Jr. said, We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools. These words ring as true today as they did in 1964, if not louder. As a country we are becoming more and more divided and polarized, racially, socially, and politically. As we celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., we would be wise to remember his words of warning. And that we are all in this together.

The Lansdale Borough Police Department was one of the featured departments and the video was shown at the conference. The video is now on our fledgling You Tube Channel and we wanted to share it with you. Have a Great Weekend!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riO90KT51Gc
Today, December 7, is a day that will forever live-in infamy. We remember the more than 2,400 American service members who lost their lives in the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. Your sacrifice and service will not be forgotten.
We couldn't have the "normal" tree lighting ceremony this year but Santa still makes an appearance in this wonderful video of the tree lighting! Enjoy and have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season!!
As difficult as this is to say, especially during the holidays, we will not be accepting food donations at the police station for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19. During the holidays we are often blessed by the generosity of the community. These blessings take the form of cakes, pies, cookies, candies, pretzels and the occasional dozen doughnuts. Unfortunately we will have to abstain for the time being and we thank you for your continued support and generosity!! We will still be collecting non-perishable food items for the LT. Patty Simons Law Enforcement Food Drive!!!! The collection box is in our lobby!
Happy National Redhead Day to all of you Redheads out there! Special shout-out to our two favorite Redheads, Sgt. North and Ofc. Kruppenbach.
Law Enforcement continues to see more and more phone, email, and Internet scams. Most of these scams are targeting three traits in humans, our fear, our greed, or our charitable nature. Many of these scams are well planned and executed. However, there is one GOLDEN RULE! If the Scammers are asking for payment with gift cards it is ALWAYS, 100% a SCAM!!! No legitimate business takes gift cards as payment. The Silver and Bronze rules are: If it sounds too good to be true ...it most likely is, and NEVER give out your information, account numbers etc. If you need to file a police report about a scam, please dial 911. If you have any questions about scams you can email us at [email protected]
