As your A Taste of Mechanicsburg connoisseur, might we suggest the following options of support to our local businesses on April 26 (or thereabout): start your ...morning off with a dozen donuts from Duck Donuts accompanied by some coffee, beans provided courtesy of The Cracked Pot Coffee Shop. Or send a dozen to friends and family who could use a nice pick me up. If you need a heartier meal, get takeout from our friends Metro Diner or order a package of sausage or bacon from your local friendly butcher, S & P Artisan Butcher Shop DBA Smoke & Pickles Artisan Butcher Shop For lunch, head over to Dad's Garage Grill & Burger House or T.J. Rockwell's (grab a burger at one place and some rhino fries at the other). For dinner Snappers Bar and Grill is the place to grab some comfort food. Of course, don't forget to round all of this off with a bottle from Larsen Meadworks or a case from Al's Of Hampden and a few cupcakes from Ann's Cupcakery. And if you really want to show some love to all of the healthcare workers who are on the front line, send some chocolates from Brittle Bark, some spice from Hot Heads Hot Sauce, or an entire meal, set up and delivered by the amazing team at Two Bridges Catering. There are MANY more amazing vendors that we could add to this list...let's show them some love. We can't wait to be able to work with them again in October. See more
