At PLT, health is primary. We are a nutrition company, not a diet company. Yes, many of our clients come to us with a desire to lose some weight, and they do, but our focus is on the big picture always and for every single client. There are many clear indications of a client’s progress/success, but none more important than improved health markers, reduced and/or eliminations of medications and a positive report from their doctor should they be under a doctor’s care... Making gradual and healthy improvements to her diet and lifestyle, Anna has lost 34lbs so far under the guidance of Coach Patti, she was over the moon to share the news from her 6 month check up and we share in her excitement! Technology is cool. We can edit our focus so easily We can do the same editing with our lifestyles and habits. A shift in focus is very often all that is needed to work towards goals whether those goals are weight loss, a new career, saving for a new car or working towards having more downtime in your schedule. Know where your focus should be and make the edits needed to zoom in and you will see the big picture very clearly Christmas brings cookies and treats i...nto focus for many. We encourage everyone to enjoy some treats (we sure will!) because life is about balance.all year long though, not just during holidays, vacations and weekends. This balance is what we encourage at PLT Nutrition & Fitness We help our clients follow a less restrictive daily diet than perhaps they have in the past when following other plans (and sadly not succeeding in reaching their goals). In doing so, our clients find they are far less likely to feel the need to go completely off the rails every weekend & holiday and for the first time in their lives, many are breaking the cycle of yo-yo dieting Drink some egg nog, have some cookies, indulge in the chocolates Santa leaves in your stocking. AT PLT Nutrition we adjust our clients calories/macros most weeks. Whilst we would ideally find the perfect calorie level for a client, where they can continue to lose weight without adjustment through their plan, this is somewhat rare. We adjust for fitness needs, lifestyle events, patterns that emerge & eating habits - pretty much whatever we feel is required to maintain progress, avoid hunger, avoid diet fatigue and keep you progressing. On average we would change a client 8x over a 13 week period, we are very hands-on and proactive working with clients to build the optimal strategy Continuous Effort
