A Lesson in Grief The adjustment of missing someone you love can be such a challenge. I invite you to allow yourself the right to grieve the pain and accept the feelings you are experiencing without judgement. Give yourself the gift of time and healing. Although it can be very scary, make a conscious choice to feel the pain. Oftentimes we try to be too strong and just postpone pain or ignore the emotions that we logically know stay attached within us in some way. Sometimes e...motions may even journey right into our cell tissue, causing us illness or a just not feeling right sensation. These feelings may stay attached in some way, shape or form if we do not allow them to pass through us. An exercise I encourage is to step into your shower and purposefully acknowledge that as you get in the shower you give yourself permission to feel pain. Do this as often as you need to. Be aware to care for yourself afterwards in gentle and nurturing ways. You can choose the grief and allow room for healing.
