The Youth of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville recently held its annual Rock-A-Thon to raise money for Camp Dost! 21 youth participated and raised $4,180 to go toward Camp Dost to purchase t-shirts, Arts & Crafts and if any money is leftover, to help offset the overall cost of camp in 2022. Amazing Job! Thank you for your support!

In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Week, we would like to recognize all the wonderful individuals who donate their time and talents to our programs, including the House, Family Room, Camp Dost and fundraising events! Thank you, too, to our volunteer members of our Board of Directors for their leadership and dedication to our mission of providing families with a home-away-from home.

The good folks from the Easter for Eli foundation brought baskets and gift cards for our houseguests this week. We love to see them rolling in each year, helping us make the holiday special. It was an extra treat to see former Camp Doster, Kaden Estep, lending a hand!

The Ronald McDonald House was delighted to welcome volunteers organized by the United Way of Columbia and Montour Counties for their inaugural #DayofAction. They weathered the 90 degree heat to spruce up our playground and Walk of Love. Heavy duty sanding and staining were also on the agenda. The area never looked better! Thanks to everyone who thought of us and participated in the event!
