Take a deep breath... unclench your jaw.... relax your shoulders.... let yourself smile What does self-care look like for you? How does it feel to breathe? Can you feel the air flowing into your nose? Can you feel your belly rise and fall? I try to structure my life so that Sundays and Mondays are self-care days.... Usually Sunday is the "lazy" kind of self-care. I allow myself to wake up whenever my body is ready to wake up. Sometimes I'll make some vegan pancakes, a big cup of tea, and sit outside with a good book (currently reading Make Time by Jake Knapp & John Zeratsky). Monday is the "I want to get my sh*t together" kind of day. I love @kalynnicholson13 ’s idea of GYST-ing (get your sh*t together). It's less structured than my other work days and I try to finish up all the little things that didn't quite get done throughout the week. I allow myself to get distracted and do tasks that don't fit into my typical Deep Work schedule. My routine went all out of whack when I was forced to shut down my physical location. It has taken me a while, but I think I'm starting to get into the grove and find my place in the world of ~Online Business~.
