Boil Water Advisory Broad Mountain System December 25, 2020 Due to the recent severe rain event, a boil water advisory has been issued on December 25, 2020 for all customers served by the SCMA Broad Mountain Water System. The heavy rains and flooding have elevated turbidity levels at the Broad Mountain treatment facility. The treated water may therefore not meet regulatory turbidity standards. The SCMA staff is working diligently to reduce the turbidity and regain regulatory compliance while keeping adequate levels for fire protection. Affected customers will receive a notification directly via phone and should boil their water for a minimum of 1 minute before drinking. If you do not receive a direct notification, you are not affected by this event. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
