We love when our school children who participate in the BackPack program share their stories with us! The BackPack program provides enough food for breakfast, lunch and dinner over the weekends.

Shirley Venesky is a volunteer at Second Harvest. She is dedicated to helping her community and those in need. She started volunteering with her friends at the Elks Club in Erie. Second Harvest is in need of volunteers for a Produce Express Distribution on Monday, December 7, at 11 a.m. at 844 Columbus Avenue, Corry, PA 16407 in the Enterprise Place parking lot off of Shady Avenue. This is a no-touch, drive-thru food distribution in which our staff and volunteers will only load food items into the trunk of our clients vehicles.
