Hello everyone. I hope as we move into 2021, that everyone is well and happy. Most of the world was eager to leave 2020. For me it has been a bittersweet time. Due to Covid and the concerns amid the pandemic, many of my people have been unable to return (I am so thankful for those who were able to come back). I understand everyone's need for caution. So many events have been delayed into 2021. I have had to make one of the most difficult and saddest decisions of my life. As... the lease for Dance America was due to end December 31st, I made the decision to close the brick and mortar location of Dance America. I was unable to justify signing another lease and paying utilities. I am heartbroken, but this is what has to be. ***I PLAN on looking for a place where I can rent by the hour TO TEACH and have a social practice. I will still have the studio phone number and maintain the website and Facebook page. I look forward to the time we can all meet again!*** During the 30 1/2 years I have been open, I have been blessed to meet so many amazing people that have changed and improved my life. Dance America! has reopened for private and group classes. (size of group class limited)... We are also having social practices on Thursdays and Saturdays. The number of couples is limited to 12. (Not regular as yet for socials. Please check Face Book page for cancellations) As we move forward, I realize many are still uncomfortable returning to classes. That is so OK. You need to wait until you feel safe and comfortable before returning to Dance America! I take joy in seeing those who have returned, and continue to miss those who have not yet joined us. I look forward to the day when we can all meet together again! Stay safe and well.
