UMFC is the youngest Fire Companies in Bucks County, Chartered in 1967. One of the best things about being the youngest is we can still sit down and talk with the "Charter Members" who created UMFC. One of the unfortunate things is we have to say goodbye to them. Earlier today UMFC Members participated in the funeral of UMFC Charter Member and Newtown Fire Assoc. Member Harvie Gray. UMFC Firefighters assisted Lingohocken Fire Co Station 35 along with numerous other local Fire Companies in the 400 block of Swamp Rd with a large brush fire. Tanker 81 and Tanker 71 we're in-service assisting for approximately 3 hours with this stubborn brush fire. The End Of An Era ... This morning UMFC sold the 1988 Freightliner 4-Guys Tanker to the Urbana Community Volunteer Fire Company in Indiana. UMFC Firefighters were out this morning assisting New Hope Eagle Fire Co at a 2 Alarm Structure Fire.
