Great progress today installing a 30’ long x 5-1/4 wide x 14 high beam to support the 2nd floor of this home to make the kitchen area VERY spacious!

Finished Project: Maybe you too can add more living space above your garage! This particular one added approximately 600 square feet along with 2 -7’ closets. 3 field applied hardwood floors with a custom wainscot around the perimeter of the room including stained rough spruce beams and the manufactured stone on the two gable walls gives it a very Home like feel!

Finish Project! 24’ x 34’ x 12’ high garage! A heated floor for in this personal workshop adds a huge bonus for this Man Cave!

New Project! Taking an old 1940’s home, total gut job inside. Constructing a 16’ wide 2nd floor dormer for a new full bath and walk in closet in their master suite. All new windows, roof, electric, plumbing, HVAC , insulation and drywall. Pine floors to be refinished with a new kitchen , full bath and laundry along with living room and spare bedroom on 1st floor!

New Project! We are bumping the Kitchen 8’ out the back along with utilizing the existing Laundry as additional Kitchen space and creating a large Laundry room on the side. You can also see they will have a fully excavated 9’ high basement!

If your into glass, you will like this remodel job! Existing railings were removed on the staircase and catwalk and replaced with 1/2 thick glass. The large insulated glass window, 13’ wide x 7’ high was installed for a nice view of the rear yard. By doing this the house is much more brighter with the natural light beaming through the entire home!

This is why it’s tough to schedule your jobs when you run into something like this!! I will not tell you where it is, but I think EVERY house is the same! It’s a shame because you as a homeowner will never see the problem until years later, when the builder is gone. You get what you pay for. This is what it looked like behind the manufactured stone The sheathing and studs are like mulch and the wire mesh was disintegrated! Some builders give me job security, but this is Awful!
