Attention Fishermen. We want to pass along some important holiday dates and times. Thanksgiving Day 11/25 CLOSED Christmas Day 12/25 CLOSED New Years Day 1/1/22 CLOSED Also, we will have several days we will close early. We will close at noon and all fish cleaning will end at 11:30.... Dec. 17th Employee Christmas Party Dec. 24th Christmas Eve Dec. 31st New Years Eve We want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas! Attention LADIES! This Saturday October 2nd Trout Unlimited Doc Fritchey Chapter will host a fly fishing introduction event at our fishing preserve. For more information visit dftu.org.

Attention Fishermen: Our stream will close early at 2pm on September 24th 2021. All fish cleaning will end at 1:30. Limestone Springs employees will be celebrating a very busy summer and our most recent flood recovery efforts with some drinks, food and fun games! We would like to inform everyone that we have CANCELED our Back to School Fishing Rodeo scheduled for August 21st. We will still honor the free admission for all people fishing that day! Hope to see ya by the stream.....

Congratulations Destiny! She had the biggest fish on Mother's Day, a 7 lb. Brown Trout, and a nice golden trout caught by her husband Vance. Mounted by Dave Jefferson's Taxidermy. On June 20th, Limestone Springs will be celebrating Father's Day from 8am-3pm. We will waive the admission fee for fathers and their family. Also, all fathers who check-in with their family will receive a Limestone Springs smoked trout fillet to take home. New for this year's Father's Day outing, Dave Jefferson's Fish Taxidermy will be mounting the largest trout caught by a father for free. The largest trout is by weight with length as the tiebreaker. Free admission, smoked trout and possible fish mount oh my! Father's Day is special at Limestone Springs so I hope to see ya by the stream....

Limestone Springs has a big weekend of events! Saturday our Young Angler's Rodeo is from 8am-3pm. See the previous post for all the details. And we don't want to leave out all the great mothers. So for Sunday, the mother who catches the biggest trout will receive that trout mounted from Dave Jefferson's Taxidermy. He is donating a fish mount for this event. He will also be set up so you can see some of his great work. So come out this weekend for some awesome fishing and great events. Hope to see ya by the stream....
