Just a month yet to put in your applications for the Hometown Hero Banner Program. We have eleven new banner applications so far for this year! If you would l...ike to have your hero put on a banner this year you have until April 1st to get them turned into Juli Jones (Borough Secretary/Treasurer). If not in by then there will be another opportunity next year. In order to make sure everything is correct and for the company to get the proofs, then make the banners it takes a while. The banners are hung between Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Please share with people that are not on Facebook. On this day, we remember the heroes who lost their lives during the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941 and the survivors who were forever shaped by the events on that ...day. We especially remember one of our own on this day as well; Dr. Harold "Doc" Sharadin and Major John Millard Kuhn. Pictures in the comments. A date which will live in infamy. Pearl Harbor was a great, and tragic, loss for our nation.
