Attention Pitcairn: On Friday May 7, 2021 we will have our second food distribution event starting at 11:00am. This event is for Pitcairn residents ONLY due to... limited supplies. Cars can begin lining up at 10:30 am in the Markosek complex entering by Sunoco and exiting next to the police station. As mentioned we have a limited supply and they will be given on a first come first serve basis. We have a great group of volunteers and we are all excited to be able to help the community!! A huge thank you to Tim at 412FoodRescue for continuing to help us out!! See more

Recently, we have had a high amount of calls for minibikes being rode on the streets and speeding around up and down the alleys becoming very unsafe. Please be advised, that any mini bike over 50cc can be in violation of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code and Pitcairn Borough Ordinance. If you operate it on the roadway ,alleyway , or any type of thorough way, you must have a valid operators license if applicable to the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code Title 75. . It must also be registered, inspected , and have valid insurance. Mini-bikes less than 50cc do not need registered, but cannot operate on the borough streets or alleys. Violators will have their bikes towed and issued state citations. Parents, please advise your children. Thank you!

Thank you to the Monroeville Emergency Dispatch Center for all you do! You are always there giving us all the resources we need, and conducting status checks to make sure we’re safe in the field. Also, thank you to Officer Caruso from the Pitcairn Police Department for coordinating this event.
